ANTARA FLOW YOGA:
Morgan Palmer Hubbard
Morgan is a co-founder of NowHere Yoga, Amara Valley Eco Retreat, Agni Spirit Festival, and has been offering yoga classes, retreats and events both in Spain and internationally for the last 10 years. Coming from a background in psychology, music and dance, theatre, bodywork and events, he seeks to channel this multiplicity of creative currents and wisdom traditions towards a common understanding of wellness in body, breath and awareness.
He will be offering sessions of his project Antara Flow, incorporating Synergy Yoga, silent disco headphones, binaural beat brainwave entrainment, music, breathwork and meditation to create a powerful experience that transports participants into direct contact with flow states and deep levels of meditative awareness.
THE LOVE CUISINE: Marleen Kemper & Ben Dessard
Former Chef and Retreat Leader at the multi award-winning Wellness Retreat Aro-Hā in New Zealand, Marleen and Ben have returned to Europe as The Love Cuisine. Together, they express their deep passion to create a simple and nurturing space for everyone to come together, as they are, and feel the loving connection that embraces us all.
They currently provide delicious healthy food and nutrition services for retreats and teacher trainings around Europe, with the intention to support a nourishing and healing environment for these experiences to unfold. The food Marleen and Ben are preparing with mindful hands combines nature’s freshest and most generous ingredients with a creative and health-focused approach.
Beyond catering the menu for the retreat they will be offering workshops on mindful cooking and holistic nutrition, giving participants a chance to learn first-hand how diet can be cornerstone of vibrant health and how to incorporate healthier food into their lifestyle with delicious recipes and gourmet inspirations.
KALARI VINYASA YOGA:
Alexander has held a passion for martial arts and their respective philosophies ever since was a young boy. He practiced various Asian martial arts before finding Yoga in 1999. He eventually got introduced to Kalarippayat at the Kerala Kalarippayat Academy where he ended up staying for 2 years, studying the art under Gurukkal C.M. Sherif.In 2011 Alexander returned as Senior Instructor of the KKA.
He has now founded the Kalari Mura school here in Spain. Alex is known for his athletic ability and for paying close attention to the anatomy of movement as well as his ambition to unlock the individual potential of every student. For him, Kalarippayat is a blueprint for movement, applicable for everyone ready to dive deep. In this retreat he will be teaching forms adapted for vinyasa yoga practice.
Spring is a time for nature to renew itself, and at this time of the year, so does your body. Ben & Marleen will prepare fresh, seasonal vegan living food that will help you detox, cleanse and energize your body, cells and mind to get ready for the next season! Furthermore, they will be offering workshops, and chances for hands-on experience in the kitchen helping prepare the collective meals for those who want to gain new skills, ideas and inspirations for healthy diet and vibrant living in 2020.
We believe that food can really support your yoga, wellbeing and success, and we consider that in the preparation of our menus. With each meal you will get a nutritional explanation of the ingredients used. The Love Cuisine can accommodate to any dietary needs (allergies, GF, intolerances etc.)
Amara Valley is a beautiful eco-retreat venue offering a peaceful oasis in the forests of the hills near Banyoles (Girona). Developed over multiple generations of yoga teachers, intentional communities and healing work, its latest incarnation as Amara is the start of a new chapter in its history as a place of deep nourishment for everyone who comes to stay. Powered by renewable energy, with a range of accommodation options, beautiful rustic facilities and stunning landscape and surroundings, the venue is the perfect site for a refreshing break from the noise and intensity of the city over the Easter holiday.

The retreat team are multi-lingual, speaking English, Spanish, German, French and Catalan. The main classes and activities will be held in English.
