Would you like to start the day with a yoga practice but can’t make it to work on time?
Do you need an energizing break in the middle of the day without going too far from your desk?

Introducing a Yoga session in your office or workspace is a great choice to obtain better results both in your job and in your personal life. When we are busy it often seems impossible to make any more time for activities, and we end up sacrificing the most important thing we have: our health.

Stress is such a common thing these days that we are now used to live with it. Studies conducted for the annual UK Government Health & Safety Executive Annual Statistics Report highlight the millions of workdays lost to stress-related physical and mental health problems, making it an important consideration not just for personal wellbeing but for business productivity as well. Luckily, there are effective ways to reduce the impact that work-related stress has on our minds and general health.

Yoga Journal reports that many major Fortune 500 companies such as Nike, HBO, Forbes, and Apple now offer on-site yoga sessions. Reduction of stress through company yoga practices is mirrored by an increasing level of productivity in the workplace, and according to the Huffington Post it’s becoming part of the leading edge for the most forward-thinking companies in the world. At the same time it helps employees enjoy better physical and mental health, and report higher levels of happiness and concentration at work. Yoga is now recognised as one of best stress-busting and wellness-promoting activities we can do.

There are many benefits of having a Yoga practice in the office. Some of them are:

  • Anxiety and stress reduction
  • Increased levels of calmness and concentration
  • Increased energy levels and productivity
  • Team building activity that promotes more effective cooperation
  • Better work results
  • Development of a sense of inner peace
  • Physical and mental flexibility
  • Better breathing and circulation
  • Weight management
  • Reduces back and cervical pain
  • Promotes higher levels of happiness
  • Increases respect between people
